Why Noora is focused on purpose and potential at Luxid

Luxid’s Noora Söderling is inspired by teachings of wellness and mindfulness and how we can achieve more in life. Her current sources of inspiration: ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle and ‘The Book of Joy’ by Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Carlton Abrams.  

“These books offer different perspectives on life and they provide really interesting and significant insights,” says Noora. “I am currently focused on cultivating a calm mindset: finding joy in the simple, small aspects of life.” 

Noora says that if she could change one thing in the world it would be to make psychotherapy accessible for everyone. “Everyone should be able to live up to their potential,” she says.  

And being able to live up to potential is one of the reasons that Noora chose to work at Luxid. “Luxid has a mindset focused on continuous development and innovation, aiming to create the best solutions for clients,” says Noora. “It makes my work purposeful which I think is at the salt of your job. Luxid also has a ‘can-do, everything is possible’ attitude. And this is really important to me.” 

Noora is a Marketing Technology Developer at Luxid, acting as an intermediary between marketing and technical domains. The huge strides that have been in marketing technologies over the past few years have opened up so many possibilities for marketers, putting Noora’s role at the forefront of innovation.  

“Right now, I’m implementing a customer data platform and marketing automation solution for a client company,” explains Noora. “The company serves 19.6 million customers annually, making this a significant project.” So, it’s good for both Luxid and the client that Noora’s ‘superpower’ is attentiveness: “I’m a pro at noticing small details and nuances”.  

A resident of Helsinki, Noora studied at the city’s Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where she completed a Bachelor in Business Administration. She says that her studies started her on the path to doing purposeful work: “I now get a real sense of fulfilment from doing work that has meaning.” And this notion of business purpose extends to the Luxid value that Noora most relates to: Trailblazing. “Luxid is focused on digital transformation – helping businesses stay ahead in a rapidly changing technological environment,” Noora enthuses.  

Noora says that Luxid is able to lead the way in digital transformation through its commitment to continuous learning and development across the agency. “Knowledge and information sharing happens regularly across all the various functions. And Luxid is always bringing talented individuals who add to the expertise of the company.” 

And when she’s not helping Luxid with trailblazing work, Noora likes nothing more than indulging in good food and drink. “I’m passionate about cooking and cocktails,” says Noora. “I’m currently mastering Pho soup and Gin Fizz.” 

Noora loves to travel and says Indonesia is her favourite holiday destination: “It’s the world's largest archipelago. It houses a diverse range of ethnic and linguistic groups with high biodiversity, offering thousands unique places to visit.” 

And what makes Noora’s heartbeat that little bit faster?Ice swimming – it’s a hobby of us crazy Finns. But I can’t do it without a proper sauna though.”
