Luxid wins big at the Global Social Media Awards

The champagne corks are popping at Luxid as we celebrate our fantastic triumph at The Global Social Media Awards!

We maxed out with a massive three wins from our three shortlisted entries:

Best use of LinkedIn: Luxid & Atea Finland – LinkedIn reimagined: Atea’s strategic blueprint for B2B excellence

Most impactful social media campaign: Luxid & MSD Finland – Go see a doctor

Best long-term strategic use of social media: Luxid & Outokumpu – Lead gen excellence in B2B manufacturing 

Everyone at Luxid is super excited about our success – you can read all about the winners here. Winning at such a prestigious global awards ceremony truly reflects the outstanding efforts of everyone at Luxid and the incredible support and dedication of our clients.

And let’s be honest, it’s also a demonstration of the great strides Luxid is making in key areas of innovation: always-on digital marketing, leveraging AI, tech-enabled optimisation, and utilising the latest tools and techniques to name but a few of the great things we’re doing right now.

LinkedIn reimagined

Our winning entry ’LinkedIn reimagined: Atea's strategic blueprint for B2B excellence’ was praised by the jury for our success in overhauling Atea’s approach to LinkedIn advertising into a coherent strategic campaign approach. We smashed all our targets for Atea: single image click through increased by 13%, single Image cost per click reduced by 11%, and engaged website sessions rose by 40%.

Judges’ comments: “They exhibited a robust approach to utilizing LinkedIn advertising, demonstrating that a reduced number of campaigns led to improved overall performance. The clear audience and messaging hierarchy, coupled with a well-defined retargeting strategy, provided a holistic view of the campaign’s effectiveness.” Watch the video.

We must give a shout out to Hanna Vesenterä, Heini Pekkala, Myrsky Tammimaa, Hanna Wallin and our visionary Luxid team, including Marjut Herranen, Aleksi Ilomäki, Eija Väliranta, and Sari Jalava, for redefining professional networking.

Lead gen excellence

For Outokumpu, our ‘Lead gen excellence in B2B manufacturing’ was named the Best long-term strategic use of social media, with the jury recognising our efforts to drive awareness and lead generation. Having previously run one-off campaigns in LinkedIn, our focus for Outokumpu was on a more systematic way to build audiences across multiple channels to reach more potential customers. The campaign was a huge success, generating 9,736 marketing leads (up 10.6% on the previous year) and delivering 348 sales qualified leads (up 32.3% on the previous year).

Judges’ comments: “They provided a thorough explanations of its audience and strategy, highlighting the utilization of platforms’ AI capabilities. The challenges were addressed with a holistic approach, resulting in effective resolutions. The remarkable results achieved were fantastic, particulary within the B2B sector. The inclusion of supporting documents was greatly appreciated, adding further credibility to the campaign success.” Watch the video.

Emotional resonance

Luxid’s winning campaign for MSD saw the jury applaud our ‘Go see a doctor’ work. The campaign aimed to address the increasing cases of cutaneous melanoma and lung cancer – by driving people to the campaign landing page to book a doctor’s appointment. The jury were seriously impressed by our combination of educational content, real-life stories, influencer activation and a full multichannel approach.  

Judges’ comments: “It was impressive to see the campaign set forth specific, measurable objectives with multi-tiered messaging and emotional resonance, culminating in an empowering call to action that yielded incredible results. Despite encountering significant challenges, the team devised well-considered and effectively executed solutions. The seamless integration of multimedia elements was particularly fantastic.” Watch the video.
