Lars Boenisch is inspired by creativity: “Creative thinking is so important. We really need creative people that come up with novel ideas.”

Working at Luxid, Lars is surrounded by creative people and creative thinking in all areas of the business, including digital marketing where he’s a Digital Marketing Manager. “Coming up with great ideas is an important part of digital marketing, “says Lars. “We have a really talented and professional team and it’s such great fun to work together. Our team spirit is high, and we can share all work challenges with each other, no matter what.”

As a Digital Marketing Manager, Lars get to work on a wide range of different projects from paid advertising all the way through to devising digital marketing strategies. “I see myself as a performance marketer,” explains Lars. “I strive for tangible results - good results really fuel my passion to do even better.”

Right now, Lars is very much focused on getting the most from online advertising for Luxid clients.  “I’m working with Google, Meta and LinkedIn and many other platforms,” says Lars. “I analyse target audiences, create campaign plans and then execute them. I analyse campaign results and make recommendations about what could be done differently and what could be tested in future campaigns.”

Lars was born in Germany, but grew up in Turku, Finland, and now lives in Helsinki. He studied International Business, Marketing and E-Business at Turku University and then went on to do a Masters in Global Innovation Management, which included international business, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

He joined ID BBN in autumn 2021, which became Luxid just a few months later in 2022. As part of Luxid, Lars has the opportunity to work with large international clients and to get involved with really interesting projects.

“Compared to many other agencies, Luxid has real agility,” says Lars. “We can navigate complex projects, and our end-to-end competencies give us the know-how to do so much more. We really grab the bull by the horns and get things done!”

When asked which Luxid value he most relates, Lars struggles a little and opts for two! “Firstly, it’s Sincere, as this is genuinely my authentic self. Secondly, Resourceful, as often I have to navigate challenges with scarce resources to find new ways to reach the best outcomes.”

Lars says he very much lives Luxid’s values every day – always doing his best for customers and communicating sincerely with both clients and colleagues. “And without sugar coating!” Lars emphasises.

Outside of work, Lars – like so many Luxidians – is big on outdoors life. “It was so nice this summer to be able to travel and enjoy the countryside with friends and family,” says Lars. “I love Madeira: the sea, the hikes in the mountains, and the food, of course.”

Lars is passionate about music. “I listen to all sorts of artists. I love indie, alternative rock and pop, electronic, and sometimes hard rock and punk.” He is also a big fan of the cinema and Liverpool FC.

But when it comes to deciding on what he’s most proud of, It’s very much back to Luxid and his passion for great results. “I think my proudest moment is when we launched paid, always-on advertising for a client in 20 or more countries, across three different continents. In total there were over 100 campaigns. The campaigns reached 52 million people and boosted traffic and conversions to new highs – this was such a great team result. It’s what working at Luxid is all about.

If like Lars, you love working with the latest platforms to drive great results and are keen to work in an inspiring digital environment with highly motivated people, then Luxid could be just the place for you. Everything you need to know about working for Luxid is here
