Nathalia Sadovnik loves to travel. And for her, it’s far more than just going on holiday. “My passion in life is exploring the world through travel,” says Nathalia. “I find immense fulfilment in discovering new cultures and experiences.”
Nathalia is currently enjoying the culture in Barcelona, having moved there in 2017 from her home country of Colombia to study. “The prospect of embarking on new adventures and exploring unfamiliar places really gets my heart racing,” says Nathalia.
Her favourite destination right now is the Philippines - the beaches, the food, the culture, and the people – and her dream holiday is Greece.
Nathalia did her BA in Visual Communication Design and MA in Design and Art Direction at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering. Art and design are very much in Nathalia’s blood. As a child she dreamed of becoming an artist (or a detective).
“The artists that inspired me to take a course in the art-related field are Andy Warhol, Frida Khalo, and Gaudi,” says Nathalia. “My proudest accomplishment is obtaining my postgraduate and master’s degrees. It represents my dedication and the perseverance I invested to reach a significant goal in my life.”
Nathalia took her love of art and her design skills to Luxid where she now works as a digital designer. “What I love about being a graphic designer at Luxid is the collaborative and innovative environment of the company that keeps me motivated to push my creative boundaries.”
Recently, Nathalia has been working on projects for Cockroach Labs creating their social media, landing pages and she’s also now working on creative projects for Dell Technologies.
Nathalia says her superpower at Luxid is her ability to adapt and learn quickly: “I thrive in dynamic situations, and I’m always eager to acquire new knowledge and skills, which allows me to tackle challenges effectively.”
She says she was inspired to join Luxid, having been told about the company by a friend and long-time employee of the agency. Nathalia says she was really struck by the great work/life balance that Luxidians have. “For me, what makes Luxid different is the unity of the employees,” says Nathalia, “Everyone is actively working in teams to create an output that’s impactful.”
And it’s that notion of collective hard work that draws Nathalia to Luxid’s value of ‘driven’. “This is the Luxid value I most relate to,” explains Nathalia. “I have a constant desire to continuously improve and learn, and to achieve my personal and professional goals. I thrive on challenges and take them as opportunities to grow and excel.”
Outside of work, Nathalia loves to relax and enjoy life in Barcelona. “If I could choose to do anything for a day, I would want to take the day for self-care, like sleeping in, maybe going to a spa, and catching up on my shows,” says Nathalia.
And if she could make one change in the world? “It would be to end poverty. Poverty is a major global problem, and the cycle of poverty simply can’t be broken unless children receive education.”
If like Nathalia, you want to apply your creative skills to marketing challenges, have a passion for new cultures and experience and love working with great people, then Luxid could be just the place for you. Everything you need to know about working for Luxid is here.
